[solved] 2017.3.0b1: not installing

Hello,
I’ve tried to install the latest 2017.3.0b1 but running the installer from the terminal with the default options I got this errors and I had to forcely quit:

I’m successfully running 2017.2.0b11 so I don’t think is a dependencies issue

Did the UI come up? Or when you say “from the terminal”, you mean “in a console session without X”?

Hi guys,
I got the same error, the UI installer is launching but the error begin to pop up on terminal, the interface works fine but when we should choose the package nothing appears, and therefore it is not possible to select any package, although the next button stayed enabled and the installer did not crash after press next the installation finish but nothing happen!

I want to report that it now works!
It’s seems to fails sometimes to fetch the list of package to download. Today I’ve tried again and the first time again it failed to fetch then the second time it worked and now it’s running and have converted the my old projects!
