[SOLVED] Can't check the "show splash screen" checkbox

Hi,

I’m using Unity 5.5.0f3 Personal 64 bits, and on two of my projects I can’t check the “show splash screen” checkbox, it’s just greyed.

Changing the build target doesn’t solve the problem. I have other projects where it’s checked normally, and the rest of the splash screen settings are unfolded as expected. Is there a solution that wouldn’t require to delete the player settings?

It’s a bug If you had the splash disabled previously. We have a fix on the way but you can workaround it by changing the inspector to debug mode by right clicking on the tab. Then scroll down and look for ShowSplashScreen and enable it. Then switch back to none debug inspector.

I’m using 2018.4.22f1 and still running into this bug. I turned off the unity logo option on my main computer, but when I edited the project on another computer, it first automatically turned it back on. I reverted the change in git then relaunched Unity, and it’s now off, but the checkbox is disabled.
