# (solved)Double arrow key input problem

Hey all,

I’m new to unity but already loving it and these forums have already been a great support! so thanks!

I’ve now run into a problem with the arrow keys that i cannot solve…

the problem is that if i use the UP and RIGHT arrow keys at the same time, every thing is fine. But if i use the Up and LEFT arrow keys they do not register.

If i use the WASD keys for the directions everything works fine.

Is this normal? any help is really appreciated!

Some keyboards are lame about not registering certain key combinations, nothing to do with Unity.

Make sure you use GetAxis and GetButton, not GetKey. Then Unity takes care of that for you.
