Hello, I’m pretty new to Unity and was importing an animated rig I made in Blender to Unity. However, in Unity, one of the legs goes haywire when it does not do this in Blender. Is there anyone to resolve this issue? The animation depicted in both of these are exactly the same, so I’m confused as to why Unity causes a leg to be different.
The second gif isn’t showing anything useful.
Anyway - explain your mesh creation and rig/skin setup process in blender. There is something you are probably doing in blender that is causing the leg to go ‘haywire’.
Also - explain haywire. The last time I heard that term my Grandpa was talking about the tractor hydraulics not working correctly enough to lift the front end loader high enough to dump rocks into the fence post end. So - yeah, need a bit more info on that.
A couple things to check - transforms freezed/reset on the mesh before rigging. Mirroring of bones upon creation. Other blender specific stuff.
Nevermind. I solved it after some research. I had to reset the origins of the objects in Blender, and there were a few of the objects that had to get their faces normalized.
