[Solved] Is there a way to use the old input system in tandem with the new one?

I have a bunch of developer tools written using the old input system. The problem is the old input system is disabled when you use the new one.
Is there any way to use both systems at the same time?


Yes there is in
Edit / Project Settings / Player / Other Settings / Configuration / Active Input Handling

Unity's settings organization is messy.

I always forget where which settings are as they in 30% of the times are absolutely in an unintuitive place.
