I’ve just tried to start Unity 5.6 and received a message stating that my ‘license is not valid for this version of Unity’ (I have a valid Unity Plus subscription). I was then given the option to re-activate the license, but then received notice that my serial number had ‘reached the maximum number of activations’.
The next option was to ‘disable existing activations’ but this resulted in a ‘You have not yet added any licenses to your account’ message. My Unity Plus serial was rejected as it ‘already exists in account’.
Unity is currently installed on my laptop and my workstation, so it is within the terms of use.The only change I’ve made to my system is to install Unity 2017 Beta (as suggested by a recent Unity email). The new version has been installed in a dedicated folder.
If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be appreciated. I had a busy day ahead of me, but it’s come to an abrupt halt.
