[Solved]Mono.exe has stopped working when importing assets

Good day kind Ladys and Gentleman

I do have a unfortunate problem with the basic version of unity 4.5.2f1. When I started the program the first time everything went as expected, unfortunatly, when i tried to import from

Assets > Standard Assets > character controllers

Mono.exe crashes (two times).

Restarting Unity.exe makes Mono.exe crash two times as well. Deleting the imported stuff enables me to start Mono.exe again within unity.exe without errors. Same problem whenever I try to import something (or start unity.exe)
It shows up a loading bar
“Hold on
compiling scripts…”
→ crash

I’ve tried it on the same computer on another user-account because in the error message the Kernelbase.dll is mentioned but unfortunatly its the same over there with a complety fresh account.
Neither this nor for example start-the-program-as-admin-mode did work for me. I also tried a seperate (i guess it was) MonoDevelop.exe.config because i’ve read somewhere it might help as well. I’ve also read a seperate Mono.Cairo.dll might help as well but i didnt try it because i did not find a prober source.

So at the moment i’m kind of idealess, thats why i disturb you nod

I’m using Windows 7, if this might help.

I’m looking for a positive response and i thank you very kindly for reading my wot

Hey there i did solve it and the solution is quit embarrasing:sweat_smile:
My Firewall started Unity partially in Sandbox and therefore it was not able to load mono.exe at the startup. Problem solved, thanks anyway :face_with_spiral_eyes:

So what is basically the resolution?
Closing the firewall?
