Solved: The Puzzle Game

Hi all,

Not many people know me here , i’m new here.
I’ve been working on a game for 2 weeks now.
Thanks to the Script of Rouhee I found a good way to make my game. I can’t thank him enough for helping me.

  • Making a menu
  • Save a level, so they can start from where they left.
  • a good sound system
    and many more.

Hmm… This clearly creates an interesting game mechanic, but I’m wondering if i will be diverse enough to provide interest and replayability. Maybe in later builds there will be other uses for the little boxes you fire. :slight_smile:

Jes i was thinking of floating cubes and cubes where you jumb with and so on. I have to say this is still very early to call it a good game.
I first need to fix the problems I have said in my first post.

Ofcourse I still need to change the button layout , but I realy liked to show you guys of what I did :slight_smile:

Looks cool but I hope you add some form of obstacles! It reminds me of a game I used to play when I was small. Used to move pillows around across the house and try to not touch the floor.

Looks interesting, although way too easy (just fire like 1,000 cubes and walk across) Maybe because it’s called solved (it sounds like a puzzle) you should give the player “ammo” so he can only shoot so many cubes. Maybe you can shoot 5 cubes, but you can turn around and suck them back up to fire more (making it more skill and puzzle like)

The max cubes are 20 cubes. In het beginning this is easy but how further you go how harder it wil be.
And for obstacles… im not that good modeller. But I was thinking of a level under water , a level with zero gravity an make another cube , blue one when you touch it you jump in the air.

Solved is a prison, puzzle game combined with some relaxing music that is aerodynamic like you hear it in the real world. When you are turning away from the music you will hear it less harder. Try completing as much levels as you can to get out of the deadly building.

What i didn’t put in the demo yet:
-A limit of blocks for every level , in this demo every level has 20 blocks.
-A save system (wouldn’t know how :s)
-Other throw items like ; bombs,JumpStones… etc.
