Hi Everyone.
I wonder if there is any way of mapping my own virtual joystick’s output to input manager.
Problem is that I have to use Get Axis Vector And Get Axis in playmaker which take names of axis.
Cheers

Your best bet is to probably wrap the standard Input manager with your own wrapper, then modify the playmaker component to reach into your wrapper.
That way your wrapper can combine the standard Unity Input data with your own virtual joystick input, and do so however you specify.
Alternatively, just make a new playmaker component to read your own virtual joysticks. I haven’t looked at playmaker in a few years but I seem to remember it was fairly easy to extend in this fashion.
Thanks Kurt.
I created new component for playmaker and it’s working brilliant.
I’ve got one more question regarding CrossInputPlatform.
I created component for getting CrossInputPlatform axis as well but ran into small problem.As I’ll be using multiple virtual joysticks and would like to capture axis for each of them,but if I register axis with name different then horizontal/vertical it doesn’t work.
I tried unregister axis before use but it didn’t help.
It doesn’t throw any errors.
Example
Got joystick with registered axis “Vertical”.
When I call CrossInputPlatformManager.GetAxis(“Vertical”);
It works,but when I change name of axis to lets say rightVertical it shows 0.
Does anyone knows why that is?
Cheers
