Hi All,
I’ve added an arrow to my menu system, looks something like below a white arrow png pic over a grey menu, for some reason it looks super jaggety in VR with MSAA 4X on. The menu transition to the wall behind it looks good, white text on the menu (against black or grey) looks great but this arrow looks like crap. It looks fine when run on my PC in game mode and in scene view, but really crappy in VR (quest 2). I used to have white on black and this looks even worse so now I try to get colors kind of close together but if they are too close then its not as clear.
I’ve noticed this is hit and miss in other VR games, I played Richie’s plank the other day and they have an arrow when setting the plank orientation and it also looks bad (not as bad as mine).
What technique(s) do you use for this kind of situation, a plain picture of an object on a plain background in VR? Any photo situation looks good, a plain object on a photo looks good, but plain on plain looks bad for me in VR.
Thanks,
Vanz
