hi!
I would like to show you the first effect of my current work with unity. I try to take a maximum from visual effects and performance from unity and connect it to a fps game.
My challenge is to make a project that looks like an example from ‘Cry engine’ (or better).
Looks pretty good but i think AI is to stupid
yeah I know
I have not worked with it. I’m going to implement something like “simple Euphoria engine” (as in GTA 4) … but it will take some time
That looks pretty professional actually. Just polish it up a bit, it will be beautiful.
I’m pretty sure Euphoria only handles animation, not AI. However, I must say it is looking amazing. Any chance of a webplayer?
yes I know that, but the animation (their behavior) will depend on the ai. I ai (as in Euphoria) will depend on the events of animation … I do not have idea how to do it now … but Christmas are coming - I will have more time. ![]()
Webplayer - of course … as soon as I finish the basic gameplay
Really, the art is awesome. This looks prety proffesional.
Looks good but you’re overdoing the post processing. Everything is extremely blurry. Get rid of the motion blur (or turn it down at least).
You’re right. I just did it, I reduced intensity of the ‘glow’ and it looks better. I’ll try to switch the project to linear color space (that should help), but I will do it later because now i have a problem with dynnamic.
It’s hard to find a compromise between the dynamic-looking game, and a game in which you play nicely and easy.
but I’m working on it! ![]()
Thanks ! ![]()
Yeah, the general rule with post processing is: less is more. Don’t worry about it too much, most AAA developers overdo it as well.
