According to Ars Technica you could be involved in a documentary about the OUYA, whatever the outcome is.

Yep, they sent an email. If you upload your game by March 28 and it is then in the top 3 played game they will do a documentary about you.

Sounds fascinating. It’ll be a boon for our more ego-filled developers! 
I don’t think its as much about ego as it is about exposure. I’d love to do this… but I don’t have an Ouya 
I think it’s a little short notice to be of any use to anyone who’s not ALREADY working on (and almost finished) their Ouya title.
EDIT: Also doesn’t help that I got the email today, it’s due end of March, but my Ouya doesn’t ship until June I guess it’s just for the folk who got the developer units.
Agreed it’s too short a window for me, plus your game has to be one of the top 3 most played games currently available on the platform, which isn’t so easy. But it sounds like fun/interesting for those who are in a position to take advantage of this and benefit from some exposure.
Is the Ouya out then or do they mean if you release your game before Ouya is released and its in the top 3 when its released they will do a documentary about your game and you I guess.
I believe it becomes available to the mass public at the end of the month (when your game has to be done). There is then a second timeframe, in which they determine if your game is in the top 3.
