My projects recently stopped loading correctly in unity (the scene was coming up empty) and I noticed a strange new symbol in the corner of several windows. I uninstalled Unity and re-installed the latest version (2.0f3) and I still can’t load my projects
correctly and I am still getting the strange symbols (see below). Anyone have an idea of what’s going on?
This is an old thread, but on the off chance anyone else has this (non)issue, the symbols are part of nvidia ShadowPlay from older drivers. I don’t believe this symbol even shows anymore with the more recent drivers.
This symbol definitely does not have anything to do with a blank project or any other missing data.
This is correct. It is due to the GeForce shadow play setting of “desktop capture” being set to off as well. If you turn it to “on” or “yes” for entire desktop capture, you will not get those symbols in the unity editor panels.
