Some Third person experiment

I would like to show you the effect of my recent work with unity 4.
Of course this prototype still have a many bugs, but I’m working on it :slight_smile:

Your work is amazing, mate. Keep it up!

a lot intersting game, really AAA quality. is it for console ? or Desktop ?

m;

Excellent work! How long has it been in development for?

I look forward to every prototype you make!!

The work is fantastic…

Where did that character come from? Did you create him?

Video not availible in Germany :frowning:

OMG i Wish i could get you to make me a Fps game.

Its not possible to pay you for a game or?

@mamoniem - at this moment only pc ,I do not know how much costs license on consoles and how it work, I heard that I need to have a special console for development …So now I think only about pc.
@Aussie Werewolf - I did it during two weeks. But it was more learning and experimenting than specified, organized work. I do not know yet all the features of unity and all (correct) ways to optimize the code / graphics.
@Livvy - And here’s a funny story. I found on the internet model of body(without the head, armor, weapons). I found a head yesterday, and i made some weapons. The problem is that I’m not sure about usage license . So if I want to develop this project, I would need much more time to prepare characters.

Soo00 prototype finished. I strongly wonder about starting my first game (not prototype) similar to that, but I have a lot of doubts to my programming skills, I do not want to after two months of work , say ‘fuck… can’t’ :confused:

Your programming skills will get better with the more practice you get. Why not jump into your first game and see where it ends up? I am sure you will find some talented programmers on here willing to jump on board.

That RPG project you made also inspired me on the project I am currently working on, so a BIG THANKS goes out to you

@Livvy - I work as a programmer in a small studio games. But there we are working with smaller projects (mainly mobile).
This is not a problem for me to implement something, but the work of big project, my code is still a very chaotic. Yet … I’m still learning :slight_smile:

@Zerano - Try this:

Your work is amazing! This is your best yet.

You’re definitely along the right path mate. As far as programming skills go, the best way to go is make a good game design document where you specify all the features of the game, so you can take a look from the distance and determine which ones are the “troublesome ones”, and train you to overcome their difficulties, or find someone to help you with them.

If you’re worried about chaotic code, it may be interesting to take a look at Jonathan Blow’s blog of the game “The Witness”. He gave a lot of interesting feedback of the pros and cons of code optimization on videogames, and you may find some of them full of interesting things to learn, as general concepts.

Nice work mate, ambitious, but I really hope it gets to be something playable.

@EvansGreen - you’re right - yes I will do it. Surely I read on this blog. thanks a lot !

OMG!! -am speechless :roll_eyes:
Keep it up, you just inspire me…

Hey, if you want a design doc template, this one’s amazing! http://www.runawaystudios.com/articles/chris_taylor_gdd.asp

Looks quite nice. Kudos.

Uhhh god you know what im done…(*Appluase) great work, …so what, you work with crytek or something? lol but seroiusly amzing stuff really shows the power of unity

@ dtg108 - ooo thanks ,this is very helpful !

this looks AAA!
