Heya!
So this isn’t really much of a development question as much as it is just something I’m really confused about, but it’s been bugging me for a while now and I can’t find anything about it.
So I’ve been having problems with Unity games only hanging out as a background process, and originally didn’t really mind it. However, I’ve gotten into development myself, and any builds of my own games do the same exact thing. I ran the games through Windows Safe Mode, and they did launch, but at a horrible frame rate and causing my laptop to have a heart attack. I assumed, then, it was just my specs and there wasn’t anything I could do about it.
But recently, I tried launching Lethal League Blaze, a game I’ve been able to run on my laptop for years now, and lo and behold, it’s a background process. So I’m really confused at this point, and once again, the game only launches in Safe Mode, and even then it doesn’t fully launch.
I’m assuming more recent versions of Unity are the cause, since Lethal League was just updated, but I’m really not sure. It could be my specs, but how likely is that if I’ve been able to launch the game in the past?
Also if this isn’t the right place to ask, just tell me because I don’t really know where else to ask lol.
