Sorry about my last post, explination.

When i posted about the game I am working on, Feudal Uprising, I was urged to post on both unity and reddit, both ended up being a disaster.

When I made the post I did not know unity 5 had such a generous license.

I feel we all got off on the wrong foot, and I just wanna say sorry for a mindless post, and hello, I am Peasant.

I will make sure to smack whoever told me to make a post on the unity forum and reddit. Both bad ideas.

And to post a kickstarter to try to raise funds just to get the engine, yet again another mistake.

I have happily begun development, I am buying assets as needed whenever I feel, thanks unity for lettings us use unity 5.

If you want to bump heads about the game http://feudal-uprising.com

I’m just trying to put food in the fridge potentially. Also so many games have been let downs, I want this done right, with the combat system done well, and not rushed or just presented horribly.

I don’t even know how to rig animations yet so GG.

This is going to be a hell of a journey.

Welcome to the community.

Many of us had rough starts with scopes too big for our abilities. My first game was going to be a biologically accurate version of spore. With multi layered eco systems, accurate environments, climate, atmosphere, evolution. And it was an MMO.

Yeah.

Check out the link to Pond Wars in my signature for the type of scope that can be achieved by a beginner.

Welcome  I’ve a feeling my first post was dumb, and I’ve continued in that vein all the way to the present day XD

This is why I never made a first post… They’re just too unreliable.

How’s the hair going?

Now that enough history searching. Don’t you dare look for my first post.

STALKER!
All I can say, is those who have hair best appreciate it while it’s there.
And if you want to keep the hair that’s there, I’d suggest taking up a different hobby.

My first post was also really dumb. I knew nothing. And after a few years, I still feel I know nothing.

Good luck on the development. Find what you are good at, and find friends who are good at the things you are not.

There’s nothing wrong with knowing nothing. It’s learning nothing that sucks.

I always see it as a great sign when someone accepts that they made a mistake and change their course of action as a result.

This is the truest thing I’ve ever seen.
