Hi,
I’m a composer and sound designer with no formal education in the field. I have grown up with an innate sense of musical structure and theory. I have been composing music for quite some time though I have no money with which to record it in a studio or buy the equipment myself and record it. I recently discovered something known as VST, SFZ and various other software and file formats which make it possible to record and composer music without real, live equipment. I have been messing around here and there in such programs as FL studios, Kontakt 5, Reason, Reaper, and so on (though I only have the demo versions). So far the only way I’ve really been able to record anything is through overdubbing tracks through a vst hosting software called Minihost. I would like some feedback on my sound quality and and compositional skills. I know the music could be mixed much more professionaly. As of now I lack the funds or time to spend on tweaking levels, panning, effects and so on. I simply want some feedback on the quality of my composition and whether or not you think I have any potential. Thank you guys! i can’t wait to hear from you. All of is is improvisational to a degree, being composed with the use of the computer keyboard as the midi interface/piano roll (with the exception of the first link, which is a Roland keyboard hooked up through the live audio jack of my labtop).
My computer is a Windows 32-bit, Centrino Duo core 2Ghz, Asio4All driver installed. (so, not the best environment for music production).
It good if its improv. Add some more instruments etc. and start a kickstarter if you need funds! Good Luck composing!
I know nothing about music, but it sounds competent enough to me. If you have the interest and you’re still alive then of course you have potential. Just keep pressing at it and you can only get better.
im music composer, and in my opinion the first track have too low volume…you don’t see? 
have a nice atmosphera but in my opinion the quality is pretty low.
as someone who works with sound and music on daily basis, i really enjoyed your tracks. I know how hard it is to compose/edit with lack of tools or using just demo versions of software, but these are much better quality than one would expect from a composer without formal education. I can easily see those being used as a score for indie game, or a student project. “Spirals” was my favorite though. I can give you some pointers on the studio equipment and software, so PM me if you wanna talk shop. Either way, keep up good work!
