This is the next best thing I have played since audiosurf. Of course I still think it could use a little bit more interaction such as a sense of collision when running into the cubes( screenshake, loud sound, or particle effects/explosion). I know adding a loud sound would probably disrupt the audio spectrum reading so probably a screen-shake or a more intense effect and/or explosion. Also a more depth to gameplay but that’s asking for a bit much this early on.
Otherwise I look forward to seeing this go far. I hope the kongregate community accepts it well. Good luck! I also have a good list of ogg music I found on the web if you need it at archive.org. I used it in my game but made sure and displayed the source in menu.
Interesting, good luck. I think that when you get the slow-mo pick up, you are still rezing the cubes at the same rate, so although the pace is slower the track gets more crowded - not sure that is the right thing to happen there?
