Sounds randomly not playing after 1.0.1

I upgraded to 1.0.1 (Pro/iPhone Advanced) and re-compiled my game. The only change I made was to enable the “uber scripting optimization.”

Now, randomly, sounds do not play.

For example, an event occurs, the sound plays; another event occurs, that sound plays; the first event occurs again, the sound does not play; then it cycles – as I said, whether the sounds play or not appears to be random.

I haven’t had much of a chance to track this down since 1.0.1 was only released yesterday, but wanted to post here to see if anyone else has experienced this.

same here, i tried to inform unity about it, but didn’t hear anything from them since then.

… and yeah, i didn’t change anything at all, so it is a problem of the release for sure.

I’m seeing the sounds not playing randomly as well. Anyone got anywhere with this? Possible workarounds or anything?

Also happens here. Most of the time my end game sound plays fine, but every now and then it fails.

OK, I submitted a bug with a project that reproduces the issue about every other time it is run (on the iPhone only, in the editor it works fine). Update: Erm… I haven’t received a feedback mail from the bug server yet. I guess I’ll resubmit tomorrow.
