Ok, i have looked through the forums, and am a new programmer i know a limited amount of C++ but am able and willing to do the research to find out what some things means, I’ve been playing around with a 1/10000’th scale model of the solar system that is still too large (which is irelivent). I am looking for a way for celestial bodies to act well like celestial bodies. currently i’m using rigid bodies and well, they fall down, not at each other which i’m sure i overlooked a post somewhere, but again i haven’t seen it so, if someone could point me in the right direction (if it exists inside of the capabilities of unity) otherwize point me @ an article or some other source i would appriciate it.
Use google to search the forums for “solar system higgy” and a sample project should pop up in the thread.
Disable ‘use gravity’ and they won’t ‘fall down’ any more.
thanks Quietus, and Mike I was wondering if there was an ez way to make gravity not default to turning it on = falling down, but i guess unity’s integrated physics = basic. thats what i was trying to ask about =P
