I’ve been having an issue in getting through the Counting Points part in the Space Shooter tutorial because in the latest version of Unity that I currently have, there is no option to create GUI text. I was hoping someone might be able to help me out with this.This is a picture of what it shows:
Which version do you have?
Is this option also missing in GameObject → Create other?
What is below the 2D Object / 3D Object menu?
I have version 4.6.0f1
Yes, this option is also missing there.
Below those is just Light, Audio, UI.
I have not installed 4.6 yet, but maybe this helps:
