Hey, I just finished my first Unity and first game in general… Space Wolf 3000 ( name is a cheesy take on starfox, duh )
It’s a top-down space shooter. I know there are a lot of them, especially for first games, but I did try to flesh it out. If not a completely original concept I hope I at least made it fun and worth a play through.
It took about a month total, basically just used it as way to start learning Unity and game design in general. I created all the models in Blender, sounds were made using SFXR, and GUI elements drawn in Inkscape. No assets, standard or otherwise, were used other than the toonshaders deal. The only thing I didn’t make is the music… for that I used DST’s free stuff from http://www.nosoapradio.us/
I learned a ton making this, though most of all I learned how unbelievably much I still have to learn.
Anyway, I would be honored if you would give it a play through and tell me what you think. Any and all feedback would be very much appreciated!
