Hello Everyone My Name is Nick and i Have started a project named Spartiaths : Victory or Death, spartiaths(means spartan in greek)Will Be Open World RPG 3rd person with REALISTIC GRAPHICS HD,I Have not Complete the story line yet but soon i will make some BIG updates! updates are gonna Follow every week with cool features.The Character that you see in the video of the Game is not going to be the official one it is just testing So i would love to Get Some Feedback suggestions to move on!

I dont see any gameplay here, just an animated character and terrain :slight_smile:

I have to agree with Liviu. While the assets are nice, they mean little on their own. Focus on the programming for now, make a playable prototype, and then worry about showing your work. :slight_smile:

I agree, prototype first with just cubes, cylinders etc. When the core gameplay works with just those assets, THEN you can focus on making stuff pretty. Until then, there is nothing to see. Model could be free online from turbosquid too.

guys thanks for your advice i really appreciate it,i know there is not much in game but i was so excited with the graphics result that i wanted to share it with you and you are going to understand me by testing the standalone : http://www.filedropper.com/standalonetest , why test it we see the video, the thing is that the video lowers the graphics 50% even if its in high definition.so please test the standalone to see the graphics result and give me some feedback!

@rAllenG sorry, i havent post anything to show how the gamemechanics are going to be i havent written all the stuff i want to add because im not 100% sure of everything but i will post for those i am sure so here we go :

about Character :
-he is going to Have Physical Skills ( Passive )
-Level System
-Perks (Stamina,Strength,INTELLIGENCE maybe few more)
-Skills Given By Olympia Gods, how you get them ? Gods Will Apear in StoryLine and with some quests gods will give rewards
-Character will take advices from Oracle of Delphi (its a place where people were learning about future)
-Combat will be without targeting its going to be based on phyics with collision of the weapon with the enemy
So if you want to learn anything ells that you need to know about the game let me know and i will give you my answers

here is a picture of my mecanim update , finished character movement right, left , back

in this update im going to show you the AI Creature that i was working
on its a skeleton that if you go near to him he starts chasing you and
after he chase you he starts attacking soon VIDEO.

as you can see if you enter in this circle(trigger)
the skeleton starts chasing you and here is what happens when you enter

the circle(trigger) gets bigger and the skeleton starts chasing you
if you want to avoid the creature(make him stop), you have to get
of the circle. look what happens if he chase you

this is the update for now in the next update (next week)
i will have finished the combat system and im going to show
it by video (: stay tunned and please give feedback!

I prefer to see nice graphics rather than boring game mechanics. You need to tweak his waik animation as it’s really off atm.

whats the point of that? Just look at photographs if you feel that way, theres no real essence or anything to do.

@Niko, nice graphics but I would leave graphics to pics and webplayers, not videos. Videos should show gameplay or mechanics, its the best if it has mechanics and good graphics but you have to start somewhere. :slight_smile: goodluck and keep on with the project!

here we show up a new update its a small one but nevermind
added player stats : Strength,Stamin,Level,Damage,Defence,Inteligence… and more.
I added a GUI dragable window (Necromancer GUI) you can open and close it with the button “E” on the keyboard…

Welcome To My New Big update of the GamePlay im very excited to post these News because i’ve added some
Lovely features that you are going to see in the video , i recomend you to watch it in HD
i,ve added Combat System Based on Stats And Interact With Physics ( Detect Collision To Hit)
PLayer has stats Now and the enemy Creature too , in the next week i will add skills,particles,quests,
player now wears duel swords ( will be changed in the future with better models), no bugs in combat system everythin works smoothly! Here are Some Screenshots

well as ive said on youtube you got a nice game but what makes the game interesting is the workflow from here to there and it interest me as well

sorry for my bad english and since this is my first post im not done yet with my project and already told rant im gonna post it here soon

im building a stickman game way back in 90’s on its 3D version and which includes the journey or the storyline on that 3D island kinda hard work but it pays off. like ive said i got a few scripts would be able to help you A GUI Store for RPG , inventory for RPG which i got in this forums as well but i just enhanced and modified it. base on what is want - textures - Names - Etc.

hi kookabara ! thank you for your help offering,i dont have scripting problems im good enough for that all i need is animator 3d modeler in my team…
