I am attempting to make a game where spheres are on a tilting surface and part of the challenge is to tilt the surface to guide the sphere to certain locations.
In Unity, when I tilt the surface, as the surface is in motion, the spheres first slide away from the direction of tilt without any rolling action, as if on a ice/glass surface, and then they slowly begin to tumble in the direction that gravity is pulling them, after the surface is no longer in motion.
I have created a New Physic Material , tested various settings and also in the mesh collider/rigidbody settings and applied to both the surface and the spheres.
Possibly 2 more related issues where the spheres will freeze in place and will push through the mesh if they ever come completely to rest. They appear to freeze in place and then if the surface mesh is tilted until they are exposed to free space they will then respond to gravity and begin to fall.
Perhaps a combination of settings that must be applied or a key element missing?
Thanks so much if you can help.
