No seams…but i have an issue… The new split terrains have weird terrain data associated with it (Check the attached image ). It doesnt show any name. But the split terrain is visible. And when i make a prefab out of the split terrain, the terrain data immediately goes missing. Also it gives an error while lightmapping, Duplicate Instance Tree01. Any solution for me?? Thanks in advance…

Guess we need to store terrain data not in Scene but save all into assets. Please wait for update.
Now it store terrain data via creating assets. Download asset again please.
Hi I just used this, it split up the terrain fine and looks good except i get seams when i modify the terrains height. Are the terrains seams not connected by vertices? Please advise. Thank you.
They are not connected by vertices. So if you modify height at edge connection you will have a hole. But anyway there is a seam maybe because of different normal at edge of connection

Hi there, I know this is an old thread, but when I use your AMAZING FREE script on a 8k x 8x terrain, Unity crashes. I was really hoping to divide this huge terrain up and stream the chunks cause it’s too big! Is that a normal thing? Is there some way I can modify the script to handle bigger terrains?
