I’m making an FPS and want to split the animations for the upper and lower body of my character as I’ve seen in many videos. This is relatively easy in Unreal Engine but I can’t find any resources on doing it in unity. How could I have two animations playing for the upper and lower body of my character?
Have two layers in your Animator Controller for upper and lower body and use an Avatar Mask to mask out the other bones. The different layers can play whatever animation you want.
