Is there a way in unity to change near plane for spot light? The fact is that in situations when near plane too big for near objects there are leaking shadow artifacts. The example picture is shown below.
Surely no one knows the answer?
What is the bias setting on the spot light shadow?
Bias is not significant. Bias changing can reduce the artifact of course but it will create another artifact from other side. I found out that changing range reduces the artifact. This means that near plane is dependent from range. But unfortunately near plane is independent from angle of spotlight. Below is image showing it.
