Spotlight troubles.

I downloaded unity this morning and am trying to make a basic game where you just walk through some woods at night but when i added my spotlight not only did it light up the trees outside of the actual light, there was no graduality to the light. The light in front me is dynamic and light up gradually but the tree’s just become instantly light like a light bulb

(the picture shows that, regardless of how far away the trees are, their still being hit with the same intensity of light)

I’ve got a question… what material did you use for the trees… or you create the trees by using the build in terrain?

I used the build in terrain tool and ‘painted’ them on

the problem I have found is the Spotlight and the objects behind the SpotAngle, if you try to use a PointLight the problem is solved
