Spreading Word of Mouth

I am currently working on a game for mobile that ill release on the Google Play Store. Itll be free with in-app purchases. Im already starting to think about marketing. I dont really have money for advertising. I know there are some free websites to showcase your games, but is there much else? What do you think about making a google plus account to post about indie developers games?(for games with profit involved)

Social Media is always good. (Facebook, Twitter, etc)
I personally have my own blog site which I use to host information on the games I make, and have it wired directly into accounts for Facebook, Twitter, Google+ (and probably Reddit later) so that posts I make on my site automatically get forwarded to those accounts and posted there as well.
I can also buy adspace for my site itself relatively cheap, and anyone that visits my site will find information on every game I’ve made, as well as works in progress so I can build up some hype for a game before its even out.
And since I control what the ads for my site look like and how they link, I could have the add focus primarily on a newly released game of mine and have it link to the information page of that game, which in turn would link to each of the places the game is being sold.

If you need to go completely free, you could just use the Social Media sites directly and independently, which would be a little tedious, and look up ways to get as many followers as possible.
One example of how to get followers is to have your account Follow similar accounts as well as various Indie Game pages, and followers of them will be able to find and follow you.

The traditional thing to do is hit all the big blogs. Maybe try to post on reddit. I guess you try to make a dev blog to try to get people interested an open beta, something to try to build some momentum.

Thanks for the advice, perhaps ill try to join some indie communities on google plus and post about my game.
