Spring joint going crazy when the collider is not a trigger, even when disabled

Hey,

I’m simply trying to have a small object be hanging from a kind of spring (or even a rope) from the ceiling.
The spring joint with those values works fine witha trigger collider, but it goes crazy as soon as I uncheck the trigger setting. The layer this collider is on doesn’t interact with anything. Am I missing something about spring joints or it’s a weird bug ? In any case, how could I get my object to be hanging nicely and still be interactable ?

It seems like it’s colliding with something at the tip of the object. Does the rope thingy have a collider near the object and did you make sure that the layer “Test” you set doesn’t collide with other “Test” layers?

Yeah that’s why I thought at first, that’s why i put it on a separate layer that doesn’t collider with anything (as you can see in the bottom left corner of the screen in the video). The rope is a line renderer, and I tried turning everything off but my spring joint and it was still fucked up.
Just now I gave it another try, and fixed it (I think) by simply deleting the old joint and adding a new spring joint. Still not sure if it was a bug or a misstake from my side.

Well that was an easy solution. Just Unity things or really something we didn’t notice
