Hi All!

Your feedback on this is really appreciated! We are putting all in on this game, trying to make it as good as possible!

Also improving iRDS on the way!

Cheers!

Rhod,

Game looks good. Would like to see a video of it.
Sprint car racing is intense.

The one thing very evident is the lack of shading in the textures on the cars. Suggest creating pre-baked AO that can be multiplied to the base texture maps, or use Unitys AO solution.

@theANMATOR2b Thanks for your feedback, Actually we have indeed created Normal, AO Maps for necessary textures, but when we decided to use only Mobile/Diffuse shader, we removed them!
We will add them up on cars, thanks!

And here is the gameplay video, Sorry for the low quality. I wanted to show the game on device itself. We’ll make another video soon(gameplay trailer).

Looks real good in motion. Very nice sense of speed and the sound fx are well done also. I think there might be a subtle screeching sound effect when the cars turn and that is a little unrealistic considering they are on dirt but other than that - real nice.
Is “catch up” AI incorporated in the game? Example - if you are far behind the AI controlled cars will slow down to make it more competitive and ‘fun’. OR if you are far ahead the AI controlled cars drive flawlessly so they can catch up to you and make the race competitive.

I personally dislike catch up AI that is used in most driving/racing games. I prefer the realistic feel of loosing by 2 laps or winning by 2 laps over the unrealistic feeling of having an opponent drive crappy if I am behind, or driving like Mario Andretti if I am in the lead.

Also wanted to ask if there are crashes in the game?

Nice work. Will keep an eye on this.

Thanks for your comments!

The AI can have that, i mean it has the option to enable the “catch up” function, we may add this as an option on the settings menu of the game, in case some users don’t want to enable it.

About crashes, yeah there could be if someone hits really hard another car or the wall, but if you ask for Damage, we haven’t yet got to that part, we could include something for a future release.

Cheers!

Hi Guys!

Here is a pic with the dynamic car numbers and drivers name baked to the car textures, so this way the cars would have each drivers names and it’s own numbers!

You can see there that the 3 purple cars has each one different car number and different driver name on the top.

Would be posting more of the progress of the game soon!

Cheers!
