Sprite atlas's and normal maps issue

Ah, thank you for the explanation. I will definitely look into this as its an area I need to learn more about.

Coincidently, I’ve been pointed to another post on the subject which I hadn’t found previously.

Apparently it’s in the works for sprite atlas to support it, so that’s good enough for me to go back to my previous workflow in the meantime.
