Recently purchased Sprite Manager 2 and went through couple of demos and was ready to start. I made sure .Net 2.1 is selected, and went through the tutorial ‘Overview’. After creating an empty GO, I dragged the PackedSprite on to the Inspector window - I found some differences under the PackedSprite (Script) in the Inspector window :-

Items not in the demo but exists in the downloaded version:

Managed
Manager
Draw Layer
Persistent

Items in the demo but not the downloaded version:

Static Texture
Under Texture Animations, no Frames to enter the number of textures to use and to drag and drop the textures.

Not sure why the difference, has anybody ran into the same issue?

Thanks,
-Raj.

There is a 40+ page SM2 thread. Why don’t you post your question there so that stuff like this is easily found by others?

Hello,
I have read several positive posts about the SpriteManager and am interested in trying it out first hand before I go ahead and purchase it,

1. Is there a trial version for SM2? if not then is there some way to work with SM1 (which I assume is still free)
2. Where is the link to purchase the studio license (multiple seats) for SM2? I have seen it mentioned on forums but do not see it on the AnB website.
3. Is creating a 2d physics based game a viable option with the SpriteManager?

Thanks
-Shamik
