Sprite sheet texture

I want to try something out with having a 2D character in a 3D environment. However, the movement script I have involves animation clips. Is there any way for me to have an animated texture that can be split into animation clips, or will I have to change parts of the movement script?


What I ended up doing was separating the sprite sheet so each sprite was its own texture. Then I just brought those into the movement script and created functions and IEnumerators that change the texture.

Sure, this method is a little buggy with the IEnumerators, but it works.
