Hello there! Senior Unity/C# developer with experience and shipped projects looking for remote part-time/contracted work in Europe Region (or outside it if offer is good enough)
I have 7+ years of experience in Unity and C# and I have great passion for Unity as an ecosystem and everything it offers!
I have shipped many commercial projects with Unity, from mobile games to asset store plugins and the biggest project I took part in with Unity was Northern Lights, a full fledged open world survival game for PC where I took care of everything code related - from dev-tools and game backend to basic game logic and scripted events.
What am I looking for:
- Freelance / Remote part-time job openings
- Work positions in development (game core, backend, mechanics etc.), optimization or graphics/shaders
- Big projects such as PC or Console games, 2D or 3D
- Asset Store projects (only for well established/known publishers)
I am eager to take on new projects (short term or long term), preferably bigger projects such as PC and console games, but mobile and/or VR is fine too. Rates and details to be discussed privately.
Here are some things that I can contribute with in your project:

Performance & Open World Optimization - While working at Northern Lights I gained a lot of expertise in optimizing large scale games in Unity and learned a lot of techniques! From code optimization and performance slicing to graphics optimization, scene level-of-detail optimization and memory profiling, I can dive into it all to make your project run faster.

Game Back-End Systems - Scene Streaming, Settings Systems, Game Localization, Save Games, Inventory Systems, Character Controllers and Stat/Economy Systems, Quest and Cutscenes, basically everything that sits at the core of a game and makes it a whole, I can make.

General Gameplay Logic - I can implement any kind of gameplay logic in c#, tied with graphics systems, materials and particle systems. Also looking to work with node based systems such as bolt or visual scripting if it’s the case.

Level Design & Logic to World integration - I can take on basic level design tasks (prototyping and production level - designed half the locations of my latest project - but I’m not as much into it as into programming) and I have extensive knowledge in how Unity scenes and nested prefabs work so integrating gameplay elements into existing scenes is no big hussle.

Technical Shader Artist - Proficient in the art of shaders! I can create and work with surface shaders in order to implement custom shading effects for your games! Good knowledge with Unity Surface Shaders (code) as well as AmplifyShader and ShaderGraph (node based)

Development Tools - Anything that aids in faster project iteration, automation, procedural world spawning etc.

Asset Store development knowledge for about 4 years - I have developed and maintained assets under the company I co-founded for hundreds of customers, so I also have great experience with Asset Store related development and writting dev tools and editor extension at a commercial level.

About me
Born and raised in Romania/Europe, passionate about everything tech related, automotive and photography - especially nature photography. Started game dev with Unity as a hobby in high school and it grew into one of my passions. Graduated University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer and Software Engineering two years ago but I pursued indie game dev afterwards rather than a 9 to 5 software dev job.
