Standalone - Freeze on Startup, good on Editor.


I’ve got one, big scene in my game. In the Editor view the scene plays all right. But when it’s started on Standalone Windows Build, after the Unity splash screen it crashes and doesn’t respond (it’s asking to kill the Unity Game process).

I’ve made a Loading Screen and I found out that even in the editor the scene loads fine, but stops for a good minute on 90% loading.

What the hell?

OK, the problem was a) Textures - resized 650 textures to res. 512x512 and b) turned off Unity in the background, as it seems, it was killing my processor.
