Standard Asset FPS Controller slides on flat terrain with no input/keys pressed?

Hi all,

Apologies for what is probably FAQ, but I can’t find the solution anywhere. (have tried changing gravity settings, rigid body drag etc, but no luck).

If I create a new scene, add a terrain, then drop in the standard asset FPSController prefab, when I start the scene the FPS “slides” off at an angle. I can move around with WASD and mouselook, but there’s an added movement component I just can’t disable.

I’m sure I found how to do it previous, but I’ve not used Unity for a couple of years, and I’m stumped again.

What am I missing?

Don’t mind me - fixed it.

I had a dodgy input axis on a controller :wink:
