I’m always one for jumping into the deep end, it’s not like you actually die if you drown in the coding world.
But you may have jumped in way to deep.
I’ve noticed a lot of people are like “I’ma make me a MMORPG! Yeah! Cause WOW is awesome!” Slow down for a second, an mmo is HUGE… it’s in its name “massive multiplayer online”.
Maybe work on an “RPG” instead… you know, with out the massive bit.
Now for those components you’ll need. Well you only have 1 post here in the forum. How about you start by integrating yourself with the community, read some tutorials, and learn about making games. That kind of stuff you’re talking about will become trivial in no time… thing is, you’ll discover them all on your own! And won’t that be a better learning experience then all of us shelling out our hard earned work hours so you can have a couple fish that will leave you with little gained knowledge and a poorly functioning fraction of a game.
inclined to agree with lord here, MMORPGs are a HUGE commitment, and if its your 1st major project then am afriad to say it but your not likely to finish it… do a RPG or something simple 1st then move up
If this is your first game project, i recomend that you stop it for a moment, get some experience with some small game, 2d, grow a little bit in the game field, then come back again to your main ideia. MMORPG has allot of interactions, message system, skills, magic, and so many other things that if you start with if you may lose motivation. BEst of luck
