StarterAssets.unitypackage not recognized in Add Project

Hello,

I’m going through the tutorial with my son and when we try and add the StarterAssets.unitypackage that was unzipped and placed in its folder properly doesn’t show up when trying to ADD Project from File in the Hub (latest version). I’m on a Windows 11 computer. When I enter the folder it doesn’t list the unity project as indicated above which is there as viewed by the Windows file explorer …

Is there something specific that needs to be done ?

I’m on MacOS Sonoma (Silicon) and I’m having the same issue: whenever I try to add StarterAssets.unitypackage, it’s greyed out. Using Unity 2023.20f1, Unity Hub 3.7.0 (tried with both Production and Beta). Reinstalling doesn’t fix. If anyone can point me in the right direction for a fix, that would be great.

I have the same problem…

Did anyone find a solution for this? I’m on Windows. and Unity doesn’t even recognize StarterAssets.unitypackage

same problem. any solution?

A .unitypackage needs to be imported into an existing project.
