Hey everyone! I’m here to proudly announce the upcoming release of my latest project ‘Staying Together’ which will be published by Naquatic LLC!!! Available on iOS, Google Play [going live this evening], and Amazon App Store
To sum it up, ‘Staying Together’ is a puzzle platformer where you must control two characters simultaneously; attempting to navigate them to a common meeting point. Make sure to avoid hazards and collect heart pieces along the way! ‘Staying Together’ has a simple but beautiful art style, a soothing soundtrack, and mind bending puzzles!!!
I have some iOS promo codes available so PM me if you would like to check it out. Otherwise it will be available for free on February 12th with a one time $1.99 IAP to unlock all of the levels.
Your game looks pretty cool. I really like the way the screen splits in the video
A coworker of mine made a small game that reminds me of this one. He made it for his wedding, but the characters were controlled by 2 players and it didn’t have your cool screen splitting… but it was adorable as hell
Thanks! I put a lot of work into the split screen system if you’re interested in more info I did a blog post on my implementation. a wedding game sounds awesome! My first game was actually a proposal game for my (now) wife
Tomorrow is release day!!! I’m getting super excited! In the meantime check out this article about ‘Staying Together’ on AppAdvice and upvote it! http://appadvice.com/trailers/staying-together
You can now officially download ‘Staying Together’ on the iOS app store or the Amazon App Store. It will be going live on the Google Play Store later today!
Thanks! The in-game art is basically all drawn in inkscape and exported to .png. The background is some open source “grungy” texture that I made seamless and semi-ransparent to add some texture to the background. The terrain is constrcuted using the awesome plugin http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/ferr2d-terrain-tool.204436/
Hey everybody it’s been a while but Staying Together is now available on Steam!!!
I’ve also added a time attack mode and some general polish and improvements to the game. There’s also a demo version so you can test it out before you buy it
