Hello there.
I’m using the project view to edit some prefabs directly, normally I have 3 or 4 project views opened for editing the scene so I can quickly drop stuff on it from different folders/favorites, it works wonders, however, it’s impossible to edit a prefab directly because when you click a prefab, all project views will show that same prefab, so I was trying to quickly edit some AudioClips on some prefabs and I would like to have a Project View showing the folder of all the prefabs are and another View showing the folder where my sounds are, so I would go clicking the prefabs and dropping in the inspector the sounds from another folder, that’s impossible because whenever you click on a prefab all the other views will show what the view you’ve just clicked is showing, so that workflow is impossible and to do that quickly you have to put all the prefabs on the scene, select them, drop the song, and click ‘apply’, it’s a paint of the ass.
So, is there a way to somehow stop all the project views from changing to the same thing when you click a prefab? I know that a quick hack is to make a favorite/filter for all the other views, but that’s not as ‘quick’ as I’d like.
