Stopping Google play leaderboards loading during load

Hi

I’ve implemented the official Google Play unity plugin to sign-in to Google Play and load the leaderboards.
In my Android/iOS game I want to place a button in my game menu to stop the call to load the Google Play Leaderboards.
I want to do this as I noticed that one of my alpha testers has a fast internet connection but a slow device. This makes loading the leaderboards really slow and thus having the user wait for a few more seconds.

It looks like the Google Play plugin has a method called ‘GetLoading’ but this one isn’t implemented yet?

How do you guys implement such a feature?
