My website will be going live very soon and I am just wondering what you guys use for stores on your sites.
Just to clear things up, it is not just an online store so zen cart, php cart etc… are not what I am after. The site will be a simple HTML based site with a possible move to wordpress or something similar in the future.

So, like it’s an informational website mainly, maybe with some forums and video pages and stuff, but you also happen to want to add-on a shopping-cart component? Most content management systems allow you to create various page content to your liking and then also maybe add-on some cart features. A fairly user friendly system is expressionengine.com if you fancy building a site and then use the cartthrob add-on to add a shopping cart with whatever checkout flow you want. Or you could use a third party shopping service like ShareIt where they take the orders for you. I can’t really advise more without knowing more of the structure of your website.
