Strange "banding" when the camera moves

Hi all,

I’m experiencing some weird banding when the camera moves. I have searched but alas no joy… I’m hoping someone has a link to help me understand my issue. In the attached gif, look at the lower third and you can see the banding over the object, this can be seen in the game view and on the device

This is a URP project with the low quality settings, HDR enabled, bloom, colour adjustment and tonemapping applied and APV.

An animated GIF is always just 256 colors, so we’ll see all kinds of (color) banding. :wink:

I suppose you mean the checkerboard lines that darken/brighten. This is either an effect of LOD (if the board consists of many smaller objects) or trilinear filtering. In the latter case the effect is likely pronounced due to low quality settings presumably because Anisotropic Filtering is disabled.
