Strange error whenever I hit play (but game plays fine)

Hey folks, I’m new to Unity so I’m not quite sure what to make of this.

The game seems to run fine, but every time I hit play, this message appears on the console:

NullReferenceException: (null)
UnityEditor.SerializedObject…ctor (UnityEngine.Object[ ] objs) (at /Users/builduser/buildslave/unity/build/artifacts/generated/common/editor/SerializedPropertyBindings.gen.cs:77)
UnityEditor.Editor.GetSerializedObjectInternal () (at /Users/builduser/buildslave/unity/build/artifacts/generated/common/editor/EditorBindings.gen.cs:153)
UnityEditor.Editor.get_serializedObject () (at /Users/builduser/buildslave/unity/build/artifacts/generated/common/editor/EditorBindings.gen.cs:146)
UnityEditor.GameObjectInspector.OnEnable () (at /Users/builduser/buildslave/unity/build/Editor/Mono/Inspector/GameObjectInspector.cs:89)

Any Ideas?

can’t help without showing some scripts. did you double click on the error message to see where it thought it was coming from?

That’s all internal to Unity.

I’d try deleting the Library, Temp, csproj and sln files, then reopen. Unity should rebuild those as long as you still retain the Assets and ProjectSettings directories.
