Strange Texture Glitches

Hey Guys,

While everything looks fine in the Editor, as soon as I make a build some of my Textures are messed up as can be seen in the attached Screenshots. I had the same Problem some months ago, and it could strangely be solved by enabling GPU Skinning, but this has no effect anymore. It has been a while since I made a build, so I can’t tell if it’s a Unity 5.6 b4 specific Problem or a general Problem and I have absolutely no Idea what causes this.
I’m using the UBER Shader, but I also tried to build with the Standard Shader both on Windows and Mac and it doesn’t make any difference.

Thanks a lot for your help

Would you be able to upload one of the textures that is glitching out like that? As it’s odd that it’s not every texture if most are using the same shader. Also are you setting custom compression values on these textures?

Can you try reimporting the affected textures?

Thanks for your help, it was because of a 4GB limit for Assets referenced by any scene (even in 64 bit builds!) Seems to be a bug. You can find further information here: Bug: 4GB limit to Textures in standalone build - Unity Engine - Unity Discussions
