This might be a bug:

So, I’m trying to write a file to the iPad. It keeps telling me either an
IsolatedStorageException exception, saying it can’t find a part of the path, or it’ll flat out say the path doesn’t exist. Even when I literally type in the exact name, it says,

"DirectoryNotFoundException: Could not find a part of the path "/var/mobile/Applications/A60AC5BD-...../board.app/Documents/test.txt"."


writer = new StreamWriter("/var/mobile/Applications/A60AC5BD-........(device identifier)/board.app/Documents/test.txt");

Works with the computer, and when I switch it to “…Data/test.txt” it says it can find the directory, but the access is limited.

Any ideas? This is killing me…

I’ve got a member of the iPhone team looking into this. You should get a response soon (although it might be in that other thread that you added to).
