Stretched polygons

Hello everyone!
Please help!:frowning: I have an old video-card Radeon HD5770 and last driver version is 15.20.1062 (and I can’t upgrade this:sweat_smile:).
In Unity in scene view I have an randomly stretched polygons on some 3d-models. This happens when I rotate or move models. And I can’t use Unity with this problem anymore!

I think this problem with DirectX or with drivers, can you help me fix it? PLEASE!

Why do you think this has something to do with the graphic card or directx?

Looks more like a model scaling issue, or a bone scaling issue. Does that tree have bones? If so reset/zero/free the scale transforms and reimport the model into Unity.
If not - is the model itself scaled improperly in 3D, check the scale transforms and reset then reimport.

Thanks for answer. No bones used. Simple mesh with textures from blender. This randomly stretched polygons appear when I move or rotate this model and they randomly changes and sometimes my screen goes black. And when all is back again Unity3d freeze forever - only restart unity3d helps… Scale and other transforms is Ok cause original model view is not deformed - only random polygons are added just like on screenshot. BTW it is my 3D tree

Sounds like your video card is dying. Stretched polygons is a pretty common artifact from an overheating or age / heat damaged GPU. Could also be corrupted drivers, or a driver bug. Try reinstalling the drivers, or installing older drivers.

Hope you find a solution. I’ve never experienced stretched polygons from a failing video card, never had a video card fail either. Hopefully it’s only the drivers.
