Struggling with Bootcamp load
I am struggling with getting to a point I can start the first tutorial – Bootcamp.
I am old school where I am use to downloading a ZIP file, that contains all the required project files, and a PDF or video that holds you hand and walks you through creating something from scratch.
So last night after stepping through what appeared to be logical steps, I don’t see anything tangible telling what to do next. Here is what I’ve done so far, please review and suggest what I should be looking for.
Run MS Win7 on a 64bit laptop
Downloaded and installed Unity 4 – free version
Choose bootcamp from the Unity demo projects for my first tutorial
Launched into the Asset store, when through the whole download, decompression, imported all the assets as it was suggesting. Then closed the Asset Store
Now in Unity in the Console tab, I see numerous yellow warning triangles stating assets did not load for several reason.
So my question is: what should I be doing next? Not seeing a PDF or URL pointing me towards anything that looks like a tutorial.
Only thing I see in my C:\Users\Public\Documents\Unity Projects is 4-0_AngryBots, nothing about Bootcamp.
I know I am a newbie, but this is really strange for a first download trying to run #1 basic tutorial. I would appreciate some direction – Thanks Ken
