Strumpy update for Unity 4?

Hey guys,

just curious if anyone knows what’s going on with SSE? There’s been no updates for quite a while and the shaders don’t always compile properly anymore. I heard it was because Unity hired the guy that made it. Does it mean that we will eventually see an officially supported version of it?

I sure hope so!

As far as I know, SSE has been abandoned for quite a long time now. It’s open source though, so it’s up for grabs for anyone who would like to keep working on it.

That said, I’ve been working on a shader editor from scratch these last few weeks, which aims to be much more visually oriented. I’ll probably put up a thread on it soon

Here’s how it currently looks:

well this is extremely cool! I love the Unreal influence.

Let me know if you need any beta/user/focus testers. I would love to give you a hand with getting this off the ground.

Keep up the great work!

Currently there are loads of issues that needs fixing, but there will of course be a beta version later, when it’s more viable to actually use in a project

Great Job

I just posted a thread on it, in case you want to follow it later on
